In the midst of a galactic ocean that takes up every ounce of space known to exist, a small but well made island sits awkwardly. Dispite no knowledge of any other life in the world, the people of this island have always done well for themselves...that is, until they went to war.
Brother verses brother, Husband verses wife, freind verses friend...it all happened when one person decided he would overthrow the king who had so kindly ruled them for ages, and before him his own father.
Now the island is torn to pieces by blood and anger, at least in some places, but in others, it thrives still. The war was long, long ago, but even now, the island is segregated, and on the western part of the small land is a village made of cobble stone and brick, which lies inside a keep. Ruled by the descendants of that one king who had to fight to save his rule from the uprisers, it is peaceful, but still full of adventure and remnants of the old civil war.
Inspired by the books of Robin Hobb.

Suggestions
The keep can be anything you want it to be...and so can anything else. That said, you can come here to make suggestions as to which forums should be added. Be creative, and every once and a while I might add some places that you thought up!

The Docks
A small but wide river runs through an opening in the gate, and deposits into a large pond where the villagers of the keep dock their boats. It is very hard to get permission to go in or out through the river, but once you do you are free to roam the empty oceans. The only place to go via boat would be to other ports on the island, which are very likely to be unsafe.

The Drab
The Drab is, unfortunately, the only part of the village where things have not been kept nice. Most of the lower class live here in homes where more than one family are living together. The cobble stone is broken and the bricks are loose, and worst of all, the most evil of the villagers do their evil here.

The Castle of the Royal Family
The Great Hall
The largest room in the entire castle, besides the Throne Room, is the Great Hall. It is fulled with large, long wooden tables made by the best carpenters. There is fresh food there all times of day, and the large fireplace is kept warm in the winter time.

The Courtyard
The Courtyard lay outside of the castle but still inside the walls of the Royal Family. There are couts here used for all sorts of things: some specifically for weddings, some specifically for village festivals, and many other things. Some are even used for sparring and training in the Royal martial arts.

Beyond The Keep
The Mountain of Steel
The Mountain of Steel penetrates up from the heart of the island. It's gray, almost silver color to it dubs it "Mt. Steel", and it it very hard to climb. Many people believe that there are inhabitants inside of it, but none who have ventured in have ever returned.

The Largrine Village
A decent three-day's walk from The Keep might bring you to the Largrine Village. It's not an unpleasant place, but the people aren't always friendly to outsiders. They are careful who they trust, and they very much don't like King August.

The Numerous Tiny Villages
There are numerous tiny villages spread around about the island, all having different reasons for existing. None of them are as nice as The Keep though.

General Roleplay
If you like, you can come here to roleplay anything not related to this RPG. I don't really care as long as it stays PG-13.
